Friends of the Inyo's Board of Directors have "Reached for the Sky" with their giving and put up a $21,000 Matching Gift for our Year-End Fundraising Campaign, which kicks off at midnight tonight, as Cyber Monday turns into #GivingTuesday! Thanks to our Board Members' generous match, your charitable dollars will double and you will be able to help us raise up to $42,000 (or more!) in support of our mission: To Protect and Care for the Public Lands of the Eastern Sierra. Here's how it will work: At 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time tonight Monday, November 28, a Giving Tuesday Donation Portal will go live on our website. You will be able to access the Donation Portal two ways: Then, for the next 24 hours, you will be able to make your donation DOUBLE by giving online to Friends of the Inyo through our Giving Tuesday Portal. But...If you just can't wait till tonight, simply go to our regular donation page, FriendsoftheInyo.org/Donate and give now! We hope you, too, will "Reach for the Sky" and donate generously, thereby helping to ensure that the Eastern Sierra's precious public lands will continue to be protected well into 2023 and beyond! Tune in Tomorrow: On Giving Tuesday morning, Nov. 29, at 9:15, be sure to tune in to KMMT-FM (106.5 in Mammoth Lakes; 104.9 in Bishop; 105.5 in Big Pine; 107.7 in June Lake; and streaming live online at kmmtradio.com). Host John DeMaria (in hat below) will talk with Friends of the Inyo's Communications and Philanthropy Director Lou Medina (foreground) about #GivingTuesday, why it's important, and why your donation to #FriendsoftheInyo matters now more than ever. Thank you in advance for "reaching for the sky" in support of Friends of the Inyo! | |
