What's Happening?

On May 18, the Inyo National Forest announced the beginning of a 30-day public comment period on a Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Coyote Flat Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) Recreation Enhancement Project. The public comment period closes on June 17.

INF will host a public meeting this Thursday, May 23, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cerro Coso Community College‚Äôs Bishop Campus, as well as online via Zoom for those who cannot attend physically.

INF, along with its contractor at WSP Engineering, will present information on the proposed action, potential impacts to resources, the planning process, and how to comment on the Draft EA, as only written comments will be considered. The meeting will consist of a presentation followed by a Q&A session, and an open house.
